Netflix has revealed in a recent document that Sense8, the series helmed by Matrix creators Andy and Lana Wachowski, will debut in March of 2014. 
While the company has still remained very coy about releasing plot details they do refer to the show as “a gripping tale of minds linked and souls hunted” while IMDB lists the synopsis as “A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world’s order.”
Ten episodes have been ordered with the possibility of more if the series is received well. Hopefully the Wachowski’s brand of SciFi action mixed with philosophizing fits in with the Television/Netflix format and we end up with a long running series.
