Matrix 2 and 3 to shoot simultaneously

According to Keanu Reeves in an interview with Eon., the upcoming ‘Matrix’ sequels will be shot simultaneously (probably to cut production costs). Here’s a clip: Reeves, who began training in November for his 16 months of shooting for the upcoming THE MATRIX sequels (which he says will be shot “intermingling” not back to back).
