Kelsee King-Devoreaux, who was one of many stuntwomen doubling for Jada Pinkett-Smith in The Matrix Reloaded, told Variety that the Smith trained and did as many stunts as producers allowed.
“There’s also the situation where they’re not going to let her do certain things because of liability and her status as a celebrity. So it’s not that actresses can’t do some or all of the things I’m doing, it’s that the movie studios view them as a commodity and they don’t want to put their product in danger.”
