Popcorn Taxi is proud to announce THE MATRIX FILMMAKER SERIES, an opportunity for you to meet some of the key creatives behind the making of the MATRIX films, currently in production in Sydney. This special Filmmaker Series will be presented over two action-packed nights, featuring four on-stage discussions with key MATRIX crew.
The first program on MONDAY JULY 29TH – 7:30 PM will feature Academy Award Winning EDITOR (for MATRIX) – ZACH STAENBERG, plus the creator of ‘Bullet Time’, VISUAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR – JOHN GAETA. The second program presented on MONDAY AUGUST 5TH – 7:30 PM will feature the man responsible for the ‘look’ of the ‘MATRIX’, PRODUCTION DESIGNER – OWEN PATERSON, plus also MATRIX RELOADED and MATRIX REVOLUTIONS PRODUCER – GRANT HILL, whose producing credits also include TITANIC and THE THIN RED LINE. Visual material from THE MATRIX will be incorporated as discussion points through each program, with ample time for Q&A.
Tickets are available for $20 / $17 (conc.) per session, or $36 / $30 (conc.) for both programs – if purchased together. Tickets go on sale at Popcorn Taxi from 6pm this Wed, and will remain on sale leading up to each event, from the Valhalla Candy Bar (during normal Valhalla hours).
