EPISODE 4 THE SANDMEN
FADE IN TO:
INT. OCEANVIEW CONDO 202
The camera fades in behind Tachyon and Carnan walking out to the balcony of Oceanveiw Condo 202. Carnan is carrying Satin over his shoulder; she is passed out. Tachyon gets to the edge of the balcony and jumps down to the ground.
CARNAN
Heads up.
Carnan lifts Satin off of his shoulder and tosses her down to Tachyon who quickly turns around and catches her. Carnan then jumps down to the ground.
EXT. OCEANVIEW CONDOS
TACHYON
Don’t think you’ll get out of this that easily.
Carnan grins and takes Satin from Tachyon, carrying her over his shoulder. Both Tachyon and Carnan head over to the ’71 Skyline 2000 GT-R. Tachyon takes out his phone, holds down ‘4’ and places the phone next to his ear.
PHASE (V.O.)
Operator.
TACHYON
So where does this Satin girl live?
PHASE (V.O.)
54268 West Luther Street. Apartment 918.
Carnan opens up the passengers’ side door and lays Satin in the back seat of the car. Tachyon heads over to the drivers side and gets in. He turns on the car and drives away as Carnan gets in and closes his door.
FADE IN TO:
INT. SKYLINE
Tachyon and Carnan are sitting silently in the car as they drive through the streets. Satin is passed out in the back. Both windows are rolled down; Carnan has his elbow leaning out the window and on foot resting up on the dash.
TACHYON
Damn…
CARNAN
What’s up?
TACHYON
I used to live over there.
CARNAN
No joke.
TACHYON
Seems like a life time ago… It’s been… Nine years now.
CARNAN
Shit, I don’t even remember where I lived any more. I’ve been unplugged for twenty.
They pass a corner café.
TACHYON
There.
Tachyon points over to the café.
TACHYON
I always used to meet up with my friends there. Every Tuesday at wing night we’d eat till we were sick. Fifty-Two was my all time high.
CARNAN
Damn boy, you sure could eat.
TACHYON
Yeah, My buddy Brian had us all beat with seventy-four though – yup – I met my first love there too, Sara; if she hadn’t broken my heart, I probably wouldn’t be here today.
Carnan raises his brow and points over to an apartment building.
CARNAN
That’s Satin’s place right there. Pull into the alley. We’ll take her in the fire exit.
Tachyon pulls into the alley and parks the car next to the fire exit. Both men get out. Carnan reaches into the back seat and pulls out Satin. Tachyon walks over to the fire exit and pulls out his phone.
EXT. ALLEY
PHASE (V.O.)
Operator
TACHYON
Can you lend us a hand with this door?
INT. NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
PHASE
No Problem.
Phase is at work at his terminals, typing and tapping screens.
PHASE
Alright, you’re all clear.
EXT. ALLEY
TACHYON
Alright.
Tachyon closes his phone and opens the door. No alarms sound.
Carnan picks Satin up over his shoulder and walks over to the fire exit. Tachyon and Carnan enter the stair well and start walking up the stairs. The camera fades in an out showing Carnan and Tachyon climbing the stairs until they reach the 9th floor. Tachyon stops at the door.
INT. STAIRWELL
TACHYON
Carnan, check her pockets for any keys.
Carnan lays Satin down and searches through her coat pockets. Pulling out a set of keys and handing them to Tachyon. CARNAN
Money. Room 918.
Tachyon cracks open the door and looks out into the hallway. Nobody is in sight. He opens the door and they proceed down the hallway to room 918. Tachyon inserts the key into the lock and opens up the door. Carnan and Tachyon enter then close the door behind them.
INT SATIN’S APARTMENT
CARNAN
Looks like her bedroom is over there, lets get this done with and get out of here.
Carnan walks over to the bedroom, Tachyon following behind. Carnan lays Satin down on the bed while Tachyon walks over to the dresser and places the keys on it. In the background we see Carnan undressing Satin to her bra and panties. Tachyon notices a necklace on the dresser, he picks it up and examines it for a moment and returns it to its proper place. He walks over to the bed stand where there is a cordless phone.
TACHYON
Damn cordless phones… You done yet, you seem to be enjoying that too much.
CARNAN
I would be done if you’d help out. Why don’t you tuck in sleeping beauty while I find out where she stores her laundry.
Carnan walks over to the closet and opens it up while Tachyon pulls the covers off of a corner and rolls Satin over into the covers. He notices a tattoo on her hip and takes a moment to examine it. Tachyon sees that Carnan has discarded the clothes and quickly pulls the covers over Satin.
TACHYON
Finished?
CARNAN
Let’s get out of here.
Tachyon and Carnan make their way out of the apartment. Just as they open the door the elevator down the hall opens and a man steps out.
INT. HALLWAY
MAN
Hey, what were you doing in Sara’s apartment?
CARNAN
We’re just some friends dropping her off.
MAN I’ve never seen you before.
TACHYON
Just go about your business.
MAN
This is my business.
The man walks towards Carnan and Tachyon.
CARNAN
Stand down.
The man ignores Carnan’s words and continues to approach. Carnan pulls out his gun and aims it at the man. The man is startled and starts to back away.
CARNAN
Close you’re eyes and lay down on the ground.
But it’s no use, and agent has already begun to cast himself inside of the man. Carnan shoots the man in his knee and he falls to the ground. Tachyon and Carnan run back inside of Satins apartment and head for the window.
INT. SARA’S APARTMENT
TACHYON
You go high; I’ll go low.
CARNAN
Sounds good to me.
Tachyon opens the window and jumps all the way down to the ground. The impact on the ground causes a ripple effect. Carnan jumps up out of the window and lands on the rooftop of the adjacent building. An agent breaks open a window and begins shooting at Tachyon. Tachyon runs over toward the Skyline and gets in the drivers seat, turns the car on and speeds away.
EXT BUILDING ROOF
Carnan is running across the roof tops, there is an agent shooting at him. He takes out his phone, we hear a ring tone.
INT NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
Phase is working quickly on his terminals.
PHASE
Operator.
CARNAN (V.O.)
Exit.
PHASE
I’ve got a service phone on a room top two blocks to your right.
CARNAN (V.O.)
Have it ringing.
EXT. CITY STREETS
The Skyline is racing through the alley. The car passes across a crowded street, a blue Toyota Camry swerves out of the way. We see the driver change into an Agent and begins chasing the Skyline.
INT. SKYLINE
Tachyon has his phone out.
PHASE (V.O.)
Operator
TACHYON
Little help here Phase.
PHASE (V.O)
You’re gona get it. Somnus’s crew is set up in front of Fuller Park. The old laundry mat, there will be a sniper waiting.
TACHYON
‘Bout time they paid us back.
EXT. CITY ROOF TOPS
Carnan is running across the building tops. It seams that he is not being followed any more. He jumps across one last alley. There is a service phone ringing at the top of a stairway exit. He stops at the phone, just as he places his hand on the receiver the stairway door opens.
–Slow Motion– An agent steps out and draws his gun aiming it right at Carnan. The agent fires a round into Carnan’s chest, he starts to fall backwards as he brings the receiver up to his ear and dematerializes.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS
Carnan opens his eyes. The female pilot is there to unhook him, as soon has he wakes up. Carnan sits up and coughs up blood, then places his hand on his chest.
CARNAN
Son of a Bitch, I’m gona be feeling that for a month… Thanks Xandara.
XANDARA
It’s what I’m here to do.
CARNAN
How’s Tachyon?
XANDARA
He’s about to get some help from Somnus.
CARNAN
‘Bout damn time.
EXT. CITY STREETS
The Camry is right on the Skyline’s tail. The alley end’s into a street surrounding a grassy park. Tachyon turns left on to the road; the Camry follows. The camera pans up to the rooftop of a laundry mat where there is a man lying down with a sniper rifle. The camera begins to zoom in on the man; half way to the building the man fires the rifle. The camera slows down and follows the bullet from the gun all the way to the Camry where it hits the tire. The Camry swerves out of control and hits an oncoming car. The Skyline stops in front of the laundry mat. Tachyon gets out and runs inside. There is a man and a woman in side. The man is dressed in white, the woman in black. Sniper fire is continuing to be herd outside.
TACHYON
Hello Somnus, it’s about time you returned the favor.
The phone on the counter begins the ring.
SOMNUS (WOMAN)
I think that’s for you.
TACHYON
Need any help.
SOMNUS
We can handle ourselves.
TACHYON
Why do I have a hard time believing that?
Tachyon picks up the phone and places it to his ear and is gone.
FADE TO BLACK.
EPISODE 5 : LOVE AND WAR
FADE IN TO:
INT. NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
The main deck is dark, only the light from the control monitors aluminates the room. Tachyon is at work at the operators station. After he is done he walks over to a loading chair, sits down and straps in his legs. He lays down and reaches for the jack. He grabs it and with two hands he rams it into the back of his neck. Tachyon in obvious agony reaches back, presses ‘LOAD’ on the chairs console screen, and goes limp.

FADE IN TO:
EXT. APARTMENT BUILDING (NIGHT)
A woman exits the apartment complex. The exterior is dimly lit from the street lights. The woman is Satin, she begins to walk down the street. Tachyon steps out from a dark corner behind Satin; of course wearing sunglasses.
TACHYON
Hello Sara; it’s been awhile.
Satin, startled; she turns around.
SATIN
Hello? Who’s there?
Tachyon underneath a street light and removes his glasses. Satin is dumbfounded.
SATIN
Gary? – Is that you?
TACHYON (GARY)
Yes.
Satin walks over to Tachyon.
SATIN (SARA)
Where have you been? You just disappeared. God, how long as it been. Everybody thought you were dead.
TACHYON (GARY)
It’s been nine years, but where I’ve been isn’t important anymore.
SATIN (SARA)
I never had the opportunity to explain myself.
TACHYON (GARY)
That’s okay. It’s not important now either.
SATIN (SARA)
Well then, what is important.
TACHYON (GARY)
That I still love you.
SATIN (SARA)
Gary, I still think about you, but it’s been a long time. I’m sorry, but I’ve gotten over you.
TACHYON (GARY)
I know, but did you ever believe that this day would ever come?
SATIN (SARA)
I believed you were dead Gary.
Tachyon’s cell phone beeps.
TACHYON (GARY)
I’m out of time Sara. There are things that I want to show you, but you have to want to see them first. May I contact you in the future.
SATIN (SARA)
Yes.
Tachyon smiles and places his hand on her cheek.
TACHYON (GARY)
I like what you’ve don’t with your hair.
Satin smiles in return.
TACHYON (GARY)
Sweet dreams Sara.
Tachyon puts on his sunglasses, backs away, and disappears into the shadows. Satin turns around and walks away.
FADE TO:
EXT ALLEY
Tachyon is running down an alley. At the end of the alley is a street with a payphone. As Tachyon approaches the end of the alley the phone begins to ring. Tachyon stops at the payphone.
TACHYON
Just in time.
Tachyon quickley looks both ways, nobody is around. He picks up the receiver, places it on his ear, and dematerializes.
FADE TO:
INT NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
Tachyon wakes up in his chair. He reaches for the plug and pulls it out of his neck and sits up and looks around the room. Nobody has seen what he has done. He stands up and proceeds to turn off the equipment.
FADE TO BLACK
FADE IN TO:
INT. NOSTRADAMUS CABIN
Talon is lying in her bed. He eyes open and she stretches her arms over her head; yawning. She throws off her covers and gets out of bed. She is only wearing panties and a long sleeve shirt cropped of just below her breasts. She stands up and locks her hands together above her head, standing on her tip-toes, and lets out a yawn. She then walks over to a shelf where she grabs a sweater and pulls it on, then grabs a pair of pants, steps into them, then proceeds out the door.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS HALL
We follow Talon down the hallway to the galley. Xandara is sitting there finishing her breakfast.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS GALLEY
XANDARA
Morning Talon
TALON
Good morning Xandara.
Talon grabs a bowl and pours a meal for herself, then grabs a spoon, sits down at the table and begins to eat.
XANDARA
Three more days and we’ll be eating the sweet Zion wheat.
TALON
I can almost taste it. – How’s the forecast in the sewers been?
XANDARA
I haven’t picked up a single squid on radar for days. I guess I should be relieved, but I’m starting to get worried. I like to at least see them so I know where not to go.
TALON
It will be alright. This isn’t the longest cold spell I’ve been in. We’ve been getting enough action in the Matrix as of late. We don’t need any more excitement out here.
Talon finishes her breakfast.
TALON
Care to load me up for some target practice?
XANDARA
My pleasure.
FADE IN TO:
INT. CONSTRUCT
Talon is standing in the construct. She is wearing blue camo pants and a black long sleeve shirt with sunglasses that are half-smoked. She has is holding a silenced Uzi, has two 45’s holstered to her chest, a knife bound to her left hip, and a fanny pack clipped on backwards.
TALON
Load the Murmansk map.
EXT. MURMANSK BASE (SIMULATION)
A snow covered tundra fades into existence miles below Talon’s feet and rises up beneath her. She is on the slope of a mountain over looking a naval base to the north. The sun just beginning to rise from the east over the ocean and it is lightly snowing. There are three large warehouses on the bases west perimeter. The main entrance to the base is on the north side. The barracks are along the south eastern perimeter and there are dry-docks to the north eastern side of the base. There is a two story building in the center of the base that apperas to be the command center.
XANDARA (V.O.)
Talon, your mission – should you choose to accept, is infiltrate Murmansk naval base and locate the underwater dry-dock, and destroy the prototype submarine that is located there. This message will self destruct in five seconds.
Talon quickly starts to descend down the mountain.
XANDARA (V.O.)
Boom!
Talon grins and shakes her head. She approaches the perimeter fence, The south eastern warehouse is just behind it. She retrieves a pair of wire cutters from her pack, then quickly cuts a small gap in the fence, spreads it open and slips through; quickly running up next to the warehouse for cover. She sneaks to the edge of the warehouse and notices a guard approaching from the side of the warehouse. Talon draws out her knife and waits for the guard to approach the corner. As soon as she sees the guards foot she darts out from the corner and slices the guards throat instantly killing him. The guard falls to the ground and dissolves away in matrix code. Talon replaces her knife in it’s holster. There is a door to the warehouse around the corner which Talon enters.
INT MURMANSK WAREHOUSE (SIMULATION)
Once inside the warehouse there are some crates for Talon to hide behind. She makes her way through the labyrinth of crates over to the catwalk, silently dismembering any guards that get in her way. She scales some crates and jumps over to the catwalk, then makes her way to a door along the northern side of the building and exits out to an overpass which connects the southern warehouse to the central warehouse. Talon runs across the overpass and jumps up on to the central warehouses roof.
EXT. MURMANSK COMMAND CENTER (SIMULATION)
Once on the roof she runs east and jumps a long gap over to the command center roof, somersaulting on her landing and quickly proceeding to the stairwell entrance. Talon opens the stairwell door, and alarm sounds
TALON
Now’s when the fun begins.
INT. MURMANSK COMMAND CENTER (SIMULATION)
Talon jumps all the way down through the center of the stairwell, creating a ripple effect on impact. A door in front of her reading “B3” opens. Two guards run out of the door, Talon quickly wastes them with her Uzi and runs through the door into a small room before it closes. There is a third guard in that room that begins to fire at Talon. She quickly dodges out of the way and shoot him between the eyes. The guard dissolves away just like the rest, but this time a keycard is left in his place. Talon walks over and picks up the card.
TALON
If only it were this easy in the Matrix.
The only other door in this room is a thick iron door, just to the right of the door is a card reader. Talon takes her newly acquired keycard and swipes it though the reader, and the door begins to open. It opens onto a catwalk surrounding an underground hanger. In the center of the hanger is a large glass chamber which holds an incomplete submarine. There are doors on the sides of the hanger that lead to offices. As soon as Talon enters the hanger guards are alerted to her presence.
INT. UNDERGROUND HANGER (SIMULATION)
Talon quickly wastes the guards on the catwalk then jumps down to the hanger floor, tossing aside her Uzi and pulling out her 45’s. Several guards on the hanger floor attack Talon, but with no avail as they all soon disappear into matrix code as Talon’s bullets rip through them. After all threat is eliminated Talon proceeds over to the glass dry-dock, using her key card. Once in the dry-dock she retrieves a timed explosive from her pack, sets the timer to three minutes and places it on the center of the submarine. Talon then exits the dry-dock, then runs and jumps up on to the catwalk and exits the hanger. Talon opens the door the door to the stairwell and is shocked to see Carnan standing there with his gun drawn right at her.
CARNAN
Game on.
Carnan winks as he pulls the trigger. Just as the bullet is about to rip into Talon’s body she fades away in matrix code and reappears in the construct.
INT. CONSTRUCT
XANDARA (V.O.)
Have fun?
TALON
Not yet.
XANDARA (V.O.)
I’ll get him back for you.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
Xandara is working on the controls, we see Arbiter, Tachyon, Aquanis, and Carnan all jacked in their seats.
INT. CONSTRUCT
Talon drops her clips in her 45’s, grabs two fresh ones, and loads them in to her guns.
XANDARA (V.O.)
Ok, ready when you are.
Talon fires a round into the air and disappears in matrix code.
INT STAIRWELL (SIMULATION)
Carnan is running up the stairs as matrix code consumes his body and Talon appears where he was.
INT. CONSTRUCT
Carnan appears.
CARNAN
What the hell was that?
XANDARA (V.O.)
It’s called a telegram, That’s what campers get on my watch.
CARNAN
Whatever.
Carnan fires his pistol and disappears.
INT. CONSTRUCT
Carnan is standing in the Construct, he loads up a machine gun and fires a round in the air. The Murmansk Base appears miles below his feet. As the base begins to rush up below his feet we see a small war going on between the crew of the Nostradamus. Carnan lands on a ship docked at the south-eastern end of the base, as soon as his feet touch the ground he begins running toward the action.
EXT. MURMANSK NAVAL BASE (SIMULATION)
Carnan approaches the end of the boat and jumps off of it. Arbiter is running across the base below Carnan. The two begin to fire apon one another when the command center explodes in a massive fireball, bringing it down to the ground. The camera slows down to bullet-time and starts to travel in a semi-circle horizontally around the command center from Carnan, traveling westward. We see Talon flying through the air as she has just jumped out of a window from the command center. As Talon is flying through the air her attention is caught by Tachyon as he runs across the warehouse rooftops. Talon draws our her 45’s and begins firing upon Tachyon. The camera continues rotating around the fireball and we see Aquanis running south from the main gate. The camera rotates around the back of Aquanis and regains normal-time, she is wielding a rocket launcher in one hand. As the dust from the command center clears she sees Carnan land just in front of Arbiter. She fires a rocket right inbetween the two, it explodes. Both Arbiter and Carnan fly backwards and disappear in matrix code.
AQUANIS (Smiling)
Double Frag
Suddenly Tachyon jumps right over Aquanis from the Warehouse rooftop. He fires his assult rifle upon her, bestowing her the same fate that she gave Arbiter and Carnan. As Tachyon lands a knife flies right into his back, causing him to fade away in matrix code. The camera turns to reveal Talon as the slayer, she disappears in code.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
Everybody is awaking from the simulation. Phase and Xandara are there unplugging everybody.
AQUANIS
Over so soon?
ARBITER
We have work to do. Signat needs to drain before we head back to Zion. Briefing in the war room in 15 minutes.
FADE TO BLACK
EPISODE 6 THE PLUNGE
INT. OCEANVIEW APARTMENTS ROOM 202
There is a phone on an end table in a deserted apartment room; it is ringing. Suddenly numerous strands of blue neon cords start to spring up from the ground. These strands take the form of five humans and two crates. The strands then begin to retract from the ground up, revealing the textures of these human and crate objects; it is the crew of the Nostradamus. Once the crew is fully loaded, Arbiter walks over to the ringing phone and picks it up.
ARBITER
Were in.
Arbiter hangs up the phone.
ARBITER
Alright. Lets get to work.
Aquanis walks over to one of the crates, and opens it up. It is filled with electronic equipment. She pulls out a laptop and a router. Aquanis carries it over to the end table and sets it up. She boots up the laptop, and unplugs the cord from the phone, inserting it into the router, then hooking the laptop up to the router. Carnan retrieves some additional equipment from the crate and begins setting it up as well.
ARBITER
I want us up and running in a half hour. Talon, Tachyon. Lets get moving.
Arbiter, Talon, and Tachyon head out of the apartment, we follow them. They walk down the hall and head down the stairs, then through the parlor and out the door.
EXT. OCEANVIEW APARTMENTS HALL (NIGHT)
There is a 1968 AMX Rebel Sedan with machine hood which they get in to. Tachyon is at the wheel, Arbiter in the passengers seat, and Talon is in the back. The car starts and they drive off.
FADE TO BLACK:
There is a green blinking curser. We see the following being typed on the screen.

The Rebel pulls up to a two story house. Only one light is on. Talon steps out of the back seat.

EXT. SUBURBAN CITY STREETS (NIGHT)
Talon is standing in front of the porch. The front door quietly opens and Chase (Signat) walks out.
TALON
Good evening Signat – Are you there?
Talon has a friendly smile on her face.
CHASE (SIGNAT)
How do you know that name?
TALON
I know more about you than you know about your self.
CHASE (SIGNAT)
Are you Blue Pawn?
TALON
Sometimes – The person on your computer was Aquanis. Would you like to meet her? I can take you to her. She has something that she’d like to show you.
Talon looks back at his house for a moment, then back at Talon.
CHASE (SIGNAT)
Sure.
TALON
Follow me.
Talon walks back to the Rebel and opens the door for Signat. He gets in and Talon enters after him.
INT. REBEL
Arbiter has his earpiece on.
PHASE (V.O.)
He’s clean.
ARBITER
Excellent.
Arbiter pushes ‘End’ and closes his phone. They start to drive away.
TALON
Signat, I’d like you to meet Tachyon.
Tachyon looks the rear-view mirror at Signat and smiles.
TACHYON
How you doin’
SIGNAT
Fine.
TALON
And Arbiter.
Arbiter turns around and greets Signat.
ARBITER
Welcome.
SIGNAT
Thanks. – Ms. Suadela, where are we going.
TALON
Please, from now on you can call me Talon, and were going to our escape so to speak.
SIGNAT
What’s at the escape.
TALON
…Enlightenment. – Be patient Signat. The answers are coming.
FADE IN TO:
INT. OCEANVIEW APARTMENTS ROOM 202
Tachyon, Arbiter, Talon and Signat enter the living room of the apartment.
TALON
Signat, have a seat
Talon motions over to the leather sofa. Signat walks over and sits down on it. Tachyon opens the doors to another room. Tachyon and Arbiter exit through the doors as Aquanis enters. Aquanis walks across the room and sits on the couch opposite of Signat, putting one foot up on the cushion.
TALON
Signat, this is Aquanis
SIGNAT
Blue Pawn?
AQUANIS
I am tonight.
Aquanis is smiling cheerfully.
SIGNAT
You have something to show me?
Aquanis reaches into her pocket and pulls out a silver case, then hands it to Signat; he opens it.
TALON
That case contains two pills. You take the blue pill, you wake up in your bed and forget whats happened her tonight. You take the red pill and we can give you the answers to all the questions that you’ve been asking, but those answers come with a cost.
SIGNAT
I can’t go back home can I?
AQUANIS
It’s the price that we’ve all had to pay.
SIGNAT
Somehow I knew that before I turned on my computer tonight.
Signat takes the red pill from the case and closes it. Aquanis reaches over to an end table and grabs a glass of water, then hands it to Signat. He places the pill in his mouth and takes a drink of water. Aquanis takes the glass from Signat and places it back on the table as she stands up.
AQUANIS
Come on, follow us.
Aquanis grabs Signats hand and leads him through the doors. Talon is right behind them. They enter the adjacent room. It is the same room from witch the crew jacked into, but it is filled with electronic equipment. Aquanis guides Signat over to a wooden chair in the center of the room and sits him down. Signat looks at Talon.
SIGNAT
Is this? – Am I dreaming?
Aquanis places an ear piece on his left ear, and attaches sensors on his arms and temples.
TALON
I know it’s hard, but try to relax.
Signat gasps and picks his feet off of the floor and places them on the chair, he is breathing heavily and shaking in fear.
SIGNAT
I’m sinking… stop it, stop it!
Signat starts shaking and jerking in his chair. The chair would fall over if it weren’t nailed to the ground.
TACHYON
He has an arrhythmia.
CARNAN
I’ve almost got ‘em.
Signat has his head cocked back and is gasping for air.
CARNAN
Targeted, Drain ‘em.
TALON
Wake up Signat.
Signat’s body jerks back and become consumed in blue neon strands, then dematerializes. His earpiece and sensors drop to the floor. The phone begins to ring.
FADE TO:
INT. NOSTRADAMUS MAIN DECK
Arbiter awakens, he reaches back and unloads him self, then pulls his plug. Phase is working at the controls. Arbiter gets up just as Aquanis awakens. He walks over and unloads her, then pulls her plug.
ARBITER
Make sure the others are unloaded. I’m heading to the bridge.
As Arbiter heads for the bridge Aquanis stands up, Tachyon awakens and she proceeds to unload him. We follow Arbiter to the bridge.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS BRIDGE
The Nostradamus is sitting in the shadows of the sewers overlooking a large pool of murky water, there are several intake pipes that are slowly leaking water. Xandara is sitting at the controls as Arbiter walks in.
ARBITER
What’s the good word.
Xandara loads up a hologram, that is composed of several pillars. There is a blue blip half way up one of them.
XANDARA
I’ve got some activity here.
Xandara pushes a button and the blip disappears from the hologram, the hologram then zooms in where the blip was. It shows a human kneeling in a power plant pod. The human is currently being unplugged by a machine.
XANDARA
If my calculations are correct, he should come out of that second pipe.
The hologram shows the machine flying away and the human plunging down into the pod. A moment later and rush of water gushes out of the second pipe followed by a human.
ARBITER
Let’s not waist any time.
EXT. SEWERS
The Nostradamus’s hover pads light up and it takes flight. I flies over the pool and rotates into position, then a claw drops from it’s belly and splashes into the water. The claw slowly retracts up, with the human in it’s grasp. Once the claw is retracted, the Nostradamus quickly turns around and flies away.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS LOADING BAY
Signat is in the grasp of the claw, Tachyon is manning the controls. The claw swings over just above a pad, then releases Signat. Talon and Carnan are there to ease him on to the pad. Talon then places her ear next to his mouth and two finger on his neck.
TALON
I’ve got a pulse, but he’s not breathing.
CARNAN
Chest compressions.
Carnan kneels down and locks his hand together over Signat’s chest and begins compressing Signat’s chest once every second. Talon, tilts Signat’s head back, and leans it to the side. By this time everyone but Xandara have gathered around Signat. By the eighth compression Signat coughs up some water, and gasps for air. He looks over at Talon and extends his arm out to her. Talon hold it with both hands.
SIGNAT
Ms. Su…
TALON
Shhh, save your strength.
Signat’s eyes close and his body goes limp. Talon quickly checks his breathing and pulse.
TALON
He’s alright.
ARBITER
Alright, let’s get him to the infirmary.
Tachyon steps over and helps Talon and Carnan pick him up and carry him to the infirmary.
FADE TO:
INT. NOSTRADAMUS INFIRMARY
Talon, Carnan, and Tachyon carry Signat over to a bed. Arbiter, Phase, and Aquanis are right behind them. As soon as Signat is on the bed Phase starts to get to work. He inserts some IV’s into Signats plugs and places a respirator over is mouth and nose.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS BRIDGE
Xandara is flying the Nostradamus through the sewers. Then all of a sudden the eyes of a sentinel that is holding on to the roof of the sewers light up but 50 yards in front of her. Only these eyes are not red, they are purple. Proximity warning sensors start going off. Before Xandara has time to react the sentinel leaps down and on to the back of the Nostradamus. A loud bang is herd through out the ship.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS INFIRMARY
The rest of the crew hear the bang, Arbiter runs out of the infirmary and heads for the bridge.
EXT. SEWERS
The sentinel is perched up on the Nostradamus’s back. Two of it’s arms are holding on to the Nostradamus, the rest are flailed out as if it’s getting ready to strike. Electricity begins to surge through out its body as if it’s charging up.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS BRIDGE
Xandara looks at her holographic scanner and sees the sentinel on the Nostradamus. She quickly pulls the Nostradamus up and grinds it against the roof of the sewers.
EXT. SEWERS
The sentinel is knocked off of the Nostradamus. It falls to the floor of the sewers, tumbling to a halt. It’s eyes fade to black. We see the Nostradamus fade from view in the distance.
INT. NOSTRADAMUS BRIDGE
Arbiter is entering the bridge.
ARBITER
What just happened?
XANDARA
A sentinel ambushed us. I didn’t see him until it was too late. I was able to scrape him off of our back though.
ARBITER
Damages?
XANDARA
Some of the disks are damaged, but nothing critical.
ARBITER
Alright, let’s head back to Zion as planned.
EXT. SEWERS
The sentinel is lying in a pile of rubble. It’s purple eyes light back up then springs up from the sewer floor, hovers for a while looking down the sewers, then turns around and flies right into the camera.
FADE TO BLACK.
